        This page contains some images of train derailments that I have seen. Some have disagreed with me on showing wreck images. I do not hold this position. I feel that derailments are a part of railroading and as such are a valid topic when depicting the life and operations of railroads and their crews. While most wrecks depicted here involved only a few minor injuries (or none at all), a few of the images posted on this page involved the loss of life. This however does not mean that I wish to glorify the suffering of the crews, friends, and families involved. I have made it a point not to promote or highlight these wrecks over any others show here and further have taken measures to show all images in a newsworthy fashion. Finally, I gain no monetary advantage from depicting these images and have not been contacted to sell or include any pictures in a profit making venture.
