I caught as the crew cut off the 30+cars returning from New Milford on this Sunday special run north bound after a fresh 15" snowfall. The snowstorm had just ended,and the clouds are still threatening. Typically, NX13 just runs south to New Milford and parks the train and locomotives at Kimberly Clark until Monday with no return northbound. But because of the New Years holiday the previous week, there was abundant traffic to get moving. The locomotives are Housatonic's two GP9s, the 7324 an ex-Conrail unit, and the other, the 1802, an ex-Providence and Worscester still wearing those colors. (Paul Krause)
