North of deerpath(KO tower and South Upton)

Top two pictures facing north, approx location of where the North Shore crossed the CNW

Another picture facing north, from slightly back. This entire area is full of railroad debris, rails, joint plates, ect. Not sure if any of it belonged to the NSL.

A footing from a NSL catenary tower sits between the two tracks of the CNW. Both of these tracks see fairly frequent freight use as last night I saw 2 freight trains pass and all coal trains for the Waukegan plant take the branch you see in the foreground.

A UP, former CNW freight approaches KO junction. Note the catenary footing near the train, a reminder of the past.
