GE-built
45-tonner no. 7315 (formerly no. 7318) has just pulled up to the
Nelsonville Depot with the 2000 "Chili Train." She's
currently in a coat of gray primer. After a complete repaint,
7315 will be in C&O blue and yellow.
-
This was a tough one to
classify, as the 45-tonner and the Baldwin are both in this picture.
The 7315 can be seen better, so it's here. The Baldwin is
shoving the cabs into the team track, while the 45-tonner
does some switching with the dump car. Photo

Whitcomb
65-tonner no. "00711" sets in the Nelsonville storage
track, awaiting restoration. This is the newest locomotive of
the HVSR roster, but it's the oldest diesel. It was built in
1944 for use over in Europe during World War II. It was donated
to the Hocking Valley Scenic by Cargill Corp., and arrived on the
property by truck in February 2001. Photo

The train
crew for the December 1998 Santa Trains (Chris was part of the crew,
but it's kind of hard posing and taking the picture at the same time).

Of course, we can't forget
to put the spotlight on Brakeman, 2001 Superintendent of Operations,
and Train Crew Caller J.

All right, we'll
put Chris's
picture in here too (after all, he was in engine service that day).
Be sure to print this off and put it wherever you have pest problems.

Good night! Yes, they
have captured Chris AGAIN. In this shot, he's preparing for a
photo of the Geep passing the coaches during the run-around in between
runs. Photo

Parts of the shuttle
train engine crew and the regular run train crew stop for picture
in front of the regular train at Nelsonville on August 25th, 2001.
Chris somehow keep winding up in Nathan's pictures. It's a wonder
that camera hasn't broke yet. Left to right: Chris Burchett
