Structures Around
Ohio
-
An
old N&W Position Signal at the NS yard in Chillicothe.
-
Former Conrail tri-light
signal 132E, on the the CSXT Columbus Line at Clintonville, shines
in the night as a westbound CSXT coal moves by. Approximately
sixty second exposure.
-
The same
tri-light above was photographed on December 28, 2001. About
an hour later, I was able to attain a
snow shot of it.
-
Here
is the CR (now NS) Juniata Loco Shops "welcome board."
Anyone who has been by the yard, should have seen this.
-
The
Twin Hatfield Tunnels on the NS Pocahontas Division, are showcased
in this photo. Williamson, WV.
-
Crestline
Tower is closed as well, but the name is still there, in two
forms. One is the original built-in, and the other is a Conrail sign
that says "CP-CREST." Crestline.
-
This
Conrail (now CSXT) division post bears the name "Pittsburgh
DIV" and was located in Crestline.
-
An
old Conrail (ex-NYC) bridge spans across the Ohio River in
Bellaire.
-
The
former HV 300-ton capacity coaling tower in the HVSR Nelsonville
Yard. The Paul Bunyan Show shuttle train (made up of
"cabeese") and the regular train are seen passing each other
beneath it.
