Deshler Ohio - May 5-9, 2006
This year's expedition to Deshler was, as usual, excellent. Crossroads Park is in excellent shape, and the townsfolk were their usual wonderful hospitable selves. It was fun to see all the usual faces and catch up on the latest happenings. The lasagna was wonderful.
First, the happenings. Saturday's Derf Chicken event was bigger and better than ever, featuring a new high for Crossroads Park....live music! Local band Aftershock cranked out some tunes while those present scarfed down burgers, hot dogs, and GrampaFrosty's wonderful DERF Chicken.
