Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus Train

When the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus Train traveled from Los Angeles to Fresno, I caught up with it in Tehachapi, CA. I lived in Lancaster at the time so Tehachapi was a mere 45 minutes away from me.

(33K) The RBBC train approaching Summit Switch near Tehachapi, CA.

(36K) Four locomotives are required to pull this long train up Tehachapi Pass.

(32K) This train contains many passenger cars which are up front, followed by animal and equipment cars.

(48K) All passenger cars had RBBC banner on the sides.

(38K) The last section of the train consisted of flatcars with equpiment trucks and circus wagons. Unfortunately there were no animals visible from the outside.

(49K) The last car on the RBBC train is a mystry to me but looks like some sort of auto car in which equipment is driven onto the train.
