I am the founder of channel #rq on DALNet. Chat topics in #rq include computers, cars, and (of course) trains. Channel operator status is freely given out to regular visitors of the channel. The current super-ops are myself (Collin), aka RflctvQ and NSA177, and Phil, aka trainbrain and shizznit (among others). If you have an IRC client, then simply point it to your favorite DALNet server or irc.dal.net and /join #rq. If you do not have an IRC client, you can download mIRC for Windows, and find lots of information for new users, at www.mirc.com. If you are not running Windows, please consult your favorite shareware site for clients (my favorite UNIX clients are ircII and XChat). You can also find IRC information at the DALNet homepage - www.dal.net. |
