This GE center-cab switcher can frequently be found on the north side of Interstate 30 at Gifford Hill's large pipe manufacturing facility in Grand Prairie. The most convenient way to access this locomotive is to park on the shoulder of the westbound lanes of I-30 and walk down the highway embankment. A telephoto lens is recommended; the locomotive is best photographed in the afternoon, during the lower-sun-angle winter months.
