Obscurities

My Obscurities page features exactly what the name implies...i.e. the strange and unusual, operations that defy categorization as shortlines, especially industrial operations. Some of the pages feature locomotives that might best be described as "Critters", while others feature locomotives or operations that can't be accurately classified. For example, how would YOU describe those Russian TEM7A locomotives at the Port of Houston? The only term that really comes to mind is one that I've borrowed from renowned locomotive guru Jerry A. Pinkepank, that reliable old standby " unlikely to be confused with anything else!" If you're interested in the obscure, unusual, or just plain weird, take a quick surf through some of these pages.
