August 2002

• Amtrak's Acela trainsets were all taken out of service for potential structural problems found in a few units. They are currently back in service.

• The NYC Transit Museum has sponsored multiple trips to Coney Island on their restored 1927 articulated subway cars. The last one ran August 25th. All the trips had good turnouts and provided fun for all who attended.
