There is little you can do to better set the era of your model railroad than with signs.  While we are not experts in the history of sineage, we believe common sense is all that is really necessary for selecting suitable vintage signs for your models.  Older signs may also be used on more modern pikes, especially if they are weathered to resemble older art.
