FL082-22 ~ Page 2

"Half car to the joint."

Shoving northward. Weather was beautiful for a caboose ride. We did hit a little shower on the way up but nothing serious.

Somewhere along the ex-CNW Air Line.

Zipping along!

Both our cars were going to the same location. First to get spotted was this center beam flat. We then spotted a boxcar at a wharehouse just a hundred feet or so down the line.

3014 coming to shove the caboose a little farther north to pick up 4 empty boxcars at another wharehouse.

Getting ready to proceed south with 0x4 and a caboose, which was empty at the time.

Back on WSOR rails and heading toward Rugby, the caboose took its born location, end of the train.

Ran into some more rain along the way. It made for a fresh ride!

Rugby Jct. again. CSX 8626 and LMX 3029 lead this ore empty into the siding to be recrewed. If it wasn't for them dying at this location, our day would have gotten extremely longer. We were able to sneak out as soon as we picked up our cars.

Long line of hoppers waiting to be filled with ore again. FL082 southbound, taking our 4x1 we brought from Ackerville.

We had clear sailing until Duplainville were we met NSFD 6604, 6587. If it were not for the dead ore empty, we would have probably had to wait in Rugby for NSFD, another NB and possibly the WSOR and a third NB, all on each others tails.

This picture is out of sequence, but I thought it made a good closing picture. It was taken on WSOR's Milwaukee Sub.
