A Visit to Myron Schiverick's O Scale Layout

At the NMRA convention layout Tours I had the privledge of visiting the model railroad of Tom Waters here in Boise. The Elbow Valley Line is a smaller 'twice around' HO layout located in his basement. He has several nicely detailed scenes pictured below. It was a brief tour but one my daughter and I enjoyed.

The passenger train passes the diesel shops

The Union Pacific passenger train speeds by an old yard mule that looks like it began life as an Atlas WDT.

The pair of track cleaning cars decorated as Gorre and Daphetid and Devil's Gulch and Helengon. These cars have a holder for a roller built into the underframe. The roller, weighted with coins, continually keeps the tracks clean.
