The White Pass & Yukon ordered four RSD-35W's (DL-535E) in 1982. They weren't sent because the railroad shut down in before the delivery date. The locos were subsequently stored at Montreal. US. Gypsum of Plaster City, CA bought two, and later a third after #113 was destroyed in a loading accident. The fourth was sold thirteen years after being built to the tourist-reopened WP&Y. |
