Baltimore--All Amtrak service is to Penn Station, about 15 blocks north of the Inner Harbor. Bus, taxi, and light rail service available to downtown. MARC trains from Washington serve either Penn Station or Camden Station, adjacent to Inner Harbor.
Aberdeen--Limited service, with seven daily southward trains and seven northward trains. Additional weekday train service provided by MARC
Newark, Delaware--One daily train in each direction.
SEPTA R2 commuter rail service to Wilmington and Philadelphia available.
Philadelphia--There are two Amtrak stations in Philadelphia: 30th Street and North Philadelphia. 30th Street is the main station. Only limited service is available at North Philadelphia.
SEPTA commuter trains offer very frequent service between 30th Street and Center City Philadelphia (Penn Center/Suburban Station and Market East Station): You can RIDE FREE on these trains to Center City with your Amtrak ticket stub. SEPTA R1 commuter rail also serves Philadelphia International Airport, half-hourly from 6:00 am to midnight. Separate ticket required.
Cornwells Heights--Park and ride lot, with easy access to/from I-95. Free parking! There are five weekday Amtrak southward trains and four northward trains that stop there, with scheduling toward serving commuters to New York. Frequent SEPTA R7 commuter rail service to Philadelphia and Trenton.
Princeton Junction--Limited Amtrak service at this station. NJ Transit offers frequent connecting service to Princeton: Separate ticket required.
New Brunswick--Limited Amtrak service at this station. Use NJ Transit trains at other times.
Newark International Airport--This is a new station providing a direct connection with the airport. The station is connected with the airport by a monorail. (Fare included in the Amtrak ticket price.) Amtrak provides frequent service (not Acela Express or Metroliner)to this station Newark, NJ--Local travel to New York is restricted on most trains. Use frequent NJ Transit trains instead. NJ Transit Airlink shuttle service to Newark Airport available. Separate ticket required.
New York--Amtrak trains serve Penn Station only. For service from upstate New York points to Grand Central, change to Metro-North at Croton-Harmon or
Yonkers. Through-ticketing available.
For security, use the special waiting area for ticketed passengers only, on the main level next to the information booth.
New Rochelle--Limited Amtrak service at this station.. There is frequent Metro-North service to New Haven and New York (Grand Central Terminal).
Stamford--Most trains provide service at this station.. There is frequent Metro-North service to New Haven and New York (Grand Central Terminal). There is also Shore Line East service to New Haven, New London and intermediate stations.
Bridgeport--Many trains provide service at this station. There is frequent Metro-North service to New Haven and New York (Grand Central Terminal). There is also Shore Line East service to New Haven, New London and intermediate stations.
New Haven--Trains no longer divide at New Haven. They serve either Boston or Springfield, but there is connecting shuttle service with some Boston trains to Springfield.
There is frequent Metro-North service from New Haven to New York (Grand Central Terminal).
Shore Line East trains provide service to New London (rush hours only)
Old Saybrook--Many Amtrak trains stop at this station. Service to Stamford, New Haven, and New London is also provided by Shore Line East.
New London--Amtrak thruway connections to Foxwoods Casino. Service to New Haven and Stamford is also provided by Shore Line East.
Mystic--Limited Amtrak service at this station. Serves Old Mystic Seaport Museum.
Westerly--Limited Amtrak service at this station.
Kingston--Limited Amtrak service at this station. Serves the University of Rhode Island.
Providence--Station is downtown Providence, within walking distance of many shopping areas and other attractions. Service to Boston is also provided by MBTA commuter rail.
Route 128--Local travel to Boston is restricted on most trains. Use MBTA commuter rail.
