Amtrak's
Texas
Eagle
Chicago-St. Louis-Little Rock-Dallas-San Antonio with connections to and from Los Angeles
Reservations required. Contact your nearest Amtrak ticket office, call 1-800-USA-
RAIL, or visit reservations.amtrak.com for reservations and
fare information.
Train 21 departs Chicago daily for San Antonio. This daily service continues as through cars or a through train to Los Angeles three days each week. California through cars depart Chicago on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Train 22 departs San Antonio daily for Chicago. Through cars from Los Angeles to Chicago depart Los Angeles on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday. Through coach and sleeping car service between Chicago, San Antonio and Los Angeles provides a convenient and seamless connection with NO change of cars
for passengers traveling aboard the Texas Eagle and Sunset Limited.
Current schedules for the Texas Eagle are located on the Texas Eagle web site - www.texaseagle.com. Schedules and other useful information may be accessed via the menu on the left side of page. To return from the Texas Eagle website, use the "BACK" button on your Internet browser.
Connections to Sunset Limited
Through coaches and sleeping cars are operated between the
Texas Eagle
and
Sunset Limited, providing convenient connections without the need to
detrain or change cars in San Antonio.

- Deluxe, special, family, and economy bedrooms.
- First Class Superliner Service includes complimentary meals,
bedtime sweet, morning wake-up service with coffee, tea, and orange

- Amtrak's Metropolitan Lounge is available in Chicago for First
Class passengers.
- Coaches:
- Reservations required for all travel, including travel locally between Chicago and
St. Louis.
- Sightseer
Lounge Car - Enjoy a panoramic view of the passing scenery. Sandwiches, snacks,
and beverages available from cafe in lower level of car.
- Dining
Car - Complete meals with a variety of entrees, some featuring regional specialties.
