This is a page for links that I have found to other railroad related sites. I have tried to say a little something about each site and its purpose. There are some sites that I have not yet had the chance to visit in depth, so I haven't had the chance to say anything about them. Electro-Motive Division- A division of General Motors, one of the two major locomotive manufacturers in the United States.
GE Transportation Systems- A division of General Electric, one of the two major locomotive manufacturers in the United States.
Norfolk Southern Corporation- Norfolk Southern's official site.
Union Pacific Railroad- Union Pacific's official site.
Via Rail Canada- VIA's official site.
Railroad Unions and Associations
Association of American Railroads- An association involved in the safety of railroads.
Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers- A labor union representing railroad locomotive engineers.
Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees- A labor union representing railroad maintenance of way employees.
Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen- A labor union representing the railroad employees who maintain, repair and install railroad signals as well as grade crossing warning systems.
National Transportation Safety Board- A government organization dedicated to investigating transportation accidents, including railroad accidents, and preventing them in the future.
United Transportation Union- A labor union for railroad operations employees, such as brakemen and conductors.
Railroad Organizations
Friends of Amtrak- An organization dedicated to preserving Amtrak, and providing information on how this is possible.
Lake Superior Railroad Museum- The Depot in Duluth, Minnesota. A great museum that includes many interesting railroad items, a place that everyone should visit when they find themselves in Duluth. Also, the Depot is home to the North Shore Scenic Railroad, operating between Duluth and Two Harbors, Minnesota.
Missabe Railroad Historical Society- An organization with an abundance of historical information about the Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range Railroad.
Operation Lifesaver Inc.- An organization dedicated to reducing railroad grade crossing accidents, "Look, Listen and Live".

Amtrak Photo Archive- A great Amtrak Photo site, this site has photos of nearly all of Amtrak's locomotive models from all eras.
Amtrak Prototype & Model- A nice site with tons of Amtrak gifs, Amtrak and other railroad information.
Amtrak Unlimited- A site with lots of information on Amtrak, especially trains operating in California.
BNSF Motove Power Archive- Another very nice arcive of photos for BNSF as well as BN and Santa Fe.
Boneheads- This site has pictures of people doing stupid things around trains.
Chicago Transit/Metra Railfan Page- A page with information on Chicago commuter and transit railroads.
Clay's 1:1 FCEN & Large Scale Trains Site- Rail fan photos of any road that happens to come through the central Florida and surrounding areas. Photos include Amtrak, CSX, FCEN, MoW trains.
Cleveland Trains- A site with some nice photos of Amtrak and other trains.
Conrail Cyclopedia- Tons of information about Conrail.
CSX Photo Archives- A site that has some great CSX locomotive photos and a roster.
Dan's Depot- A great site with train .gifs, photos and other information.
Great Northern Railway Page- A page with a lot of historical information on the Great Northern Railway.
IC & ICG Photo Archive- A nice site with a photo archive for the IC and ICG railroads.
Matt's Amtrak and Freight Train Web Page- A page with Amtrak photos and information, a must for fans of the GP40TC.
Matt's Depot- A nice BNSF web site with photos and great train gifs.
Metrolink Photo Archive- A nice site with lots of metrolink photos and information.
Mike Palmieri's Louisiana Rail Site- A nice web site with a ton of photos from the Louisiana area, including Amtrak, Southern Pacific, Union Pacific, and many others.
Mile 262- Canadian National railroading in the Sudbury, Ontario area.

Tom Batts' Amtrak/Passenger Railroad Web Site- A great site with tons of Amtrak information, photos and news.
Train Travel in the US- A nice Amtrak web site that focuses on news and Amtrak route information.
Trainboard- A web site with message boards for almost every imaginable railroad topic.
Trainorders- Home of the Tehachapi rail cam as well as other railroad items including discussion boards for railroad items.
Trainpix- Home of the BN and BNSF photo archives.
Trains Community - Amtrak Roster - A great Amtrak site that has rosters for all equipment, including locomotives, passenger cars and baggage cars.
Trainweb- A web site that hosts railroad related web sites such as this one.
Twin Cities and Western Railroad- A nice site with photos and information about the Twin Cities and Western Railroad.
Virtual Train Watching in Iowa- A nice web site with great information and pictures of railfanning in Iowa.
