A Project Within A Project: The Google Earth Files

Google Earth is a great tool for visualizing the terrain of Mobile County, and it has provided a spectacular means for viewing the route of the Bay Shore. It also allows us to see how the landscape has been altered over the course of a century since the railroad was built.

First, download and install the free Google Earth program and make sure it works on your machine. Next, download these special KMZ files and load them into the program.
