Welcome to Flight #34
Hello, and welcome to my webpage about my favorite summer pastime, camping with my good friends from Flight #34, Better Late Than Never club. This club is the local (Grand Rapids, Michigan) chapter(flight) of the organization known as Jayco Jafari International. This organization is a camping club for owners of Jayco brand RV''s. There are many flights across the country, and I would recommend joining one to any Jayco owners.
Our local flight enjoys campouts monthly from April thru October, and several off-season get togethers each year. Traveling within approximately a 100 mile radius of our "home" town, we gather for fireside chats, games, cookouts, talks about all the various members vacations, trials and tribulations(we are a very outgoing and supportive group, easing each others burden where possible.)
Our flight is fairly self supporting, as we charge a small dues monthly, we have elected officers,( I had the honor of being elected Wagonmaster for the year 2000!) Monies are used in several ways, one of which is to provide some of the food for our cookouts/potluck dinners, and or breakfasts.
As this site progresses, I shall provide you with pictures from our various campouts, post schedules of our events, and hopefully provide some interesting links for your enjoyment.
