Acme/Interlake South Chicago Blast Furnace Plant modeled in HO scale(1/87)

Originally built in the early 1900's in the Deering neighborhood of south Chicago, this plant produced iron, which was either poured into a pig iron caster, or taken over to the Riverdale plant where it was processed into steel. It was shut down and demolished in the early 2000's.
