Trains Instructions
FRL - Furnace Room Local
-
Use needed power from the fuel pad if available.
-
Pull cars off yard track for FRL and proceed west to FR in Burnham Town.

Pull cars on tracks that cars are being set out on.
-
Check car cards and pickup cars in Burnham Town (FR) with a destination of CR Interchange before other work is started. EC & KJ cars should be taken
-
CR Interchange cars should be handled first in case inbound cars need to be spotted in Burnham Town industries.
-
Spot the cars on the appropriate yard track and return the power to the fuel track.

Burnham Pipe & Steel, Gruda Scrap, Spencer Salt, E.C. Team Track, Lee Trucking, Thorp Feed, & McDonald Coal
Note:
EC (Team Track, Lee Trucking) & KJ (Thorp Feed, & McDonald Coal) are easier to switch on the return trip.
CFL - Clearfield Local
- Interchange with N.S., B&P, CSX, RJ Corman, & Conrail

Pick train up in staging

Proceed to Kimberville Yard to drop off and pickup the outbound cars.

Return to Staging
KBY - Yard Crew
-
Use any switcher unit available.
-
Sort the inbound cars and place on the respective tracks.

Switch RET Materials & Farmers CO-OP.
-
Return power to the fuel or shop tracks.
KBL - Kimberville Local
-
Use needed power from the fuel pad if available.
-
Pull cars for Kimber Glass and the Utility Siding off yard track for KBL and proceed east to KB (East Kimberville).

Switch Kimber Glass Company and Utility Siding and return to the yard.
-
Upon arriving back at the yard, spot the cars on the appropriate track for their destination.

Return the power to the fuel tracks.

Sort the inbound cars and place on the respective tracks.

Proceed with the KBL instructions

Switch RET Materials & Farmers CO-OP.

Notes:
6 axle engines will be exchanged for 4 axle engines at Kimberville Yard for all trains bound for destinations West of Kimberville.
4 axle units can be exchanged for 6 axle engines at Kimberville Yard for out-bound coal trains.
Defect Cards
These cards (Business card size) will be pulled on any train to enter or leave Kimberville Yard. The yard crew is exempt from pulling cards. Cards will be used to inflict real life situations such as:

Refueling and Sanding of locomotives

Defective locomotive (Bad Dynamics, Blown Engine, Etc.)

Car Inspector results (Refer to Feb. issue of Modal Railroader)

Dice may also play a roll in what car will be set out if a badorder card is pulled.
A HBDED will be placed near the road crossing in Elizabeth City. These cards will be for possible train defects such as dragging equipment.
