Conrail Locomotive Paint Transition Dates

This section of the site is dedicated to the dates of transition from locomotives sporting dress Blue to Quality paint. Of course this list will be constantly changing as photos are sent in, and new images are noted, but in the end I think it will be well worth the time.

Under the "Conrail" column, you'll see the latest known photograph of the unit in the standard can opener scheme. Some of the dates are highlighted, indicating a photo of the unit is provided. If no photo is available, the "Reference" tab will display where the info was collected.

Under the "CR Quality" column, you'll see the earliest known photograph of the unit in the new corporate paint scheme. Again, the same as above applies regarding the "Reference" tab.
