Here is the roll call from the successful Senate vote to keep the Amtrak half cent in the "Revenue Reconciliation Act of 1997." The vote was on a McCain point of order to strike the half cent, and we needed 60 "Yeas." The result was 77 yeas, 21 nays, 2 not voting.
