Directions To The O’CONNELL’S House ,
15 Middle Road, Hamden, CT 203-248-9765. White Tudor house with brown trim.
Number 15 on house. Enter from driveway door.
From I-91 southbound: From the Hartford area or points
north, get off at exit 10. This takes you to the route 40 Connector. Take exit
1 off route 40, only 1/4 mile after exit 10. Take a left at the end of the ramp
of exit 1. Take your next left at the light onto the (Old) Hartford Turnpike.
Take next right at the light onto Dixwell Avenue. Take a left at the next light
onto Ridge Road. Continue on Ridge Road (about 1 1/2 miles) until you pass the
first traffic light. Take the first right after the light onto High Lane. Take
your first left onto Middle Road (Don’t take the hairpin left). Go 2 1/2
blocks.
From I-95 east or west: From New York or New London
areas take I-95 to the interchange of I-91 in New Haven. Take I-91 northbound
to exit 10. Follow same directions as above.
From Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway Northbound: Take
exit 61 onto Whitney Avenue, exit signs say To New Haven. Take a left off the
ramp onto Whitney Avenue heading toward New Haven. Count 4 traffic lights (about
1 mile). Take the first left after the 4th light. This will take you to Glenn
Parkway. Take 4th right onto Middle Rd. House is 1 1/2 blocks away.
From Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway Southbound: Take
exit 61 onto Whitney Avenue, exit signs say To New Haven. Take a right off the
ramp onto Whitney Avenue heading toward New Haven. Count 4 traffic lights (about
1 mile). Take the first left after the 4th light. This will take you to Glenn
Parkway. Take 4th right onto Middle Rd. House is 1 1/2 blocks away.
