West Side of Valley

In this view you can see Devil's Doors in the background.  Beyond the gap is a curve that was often photographed.
To the right of the gap is a small restaurant which was a nice place to sit and watch trains.

Here a train has passed under the rodeway at K111 heading toward Asmara.  This is the same curve where I went chasing trains some 10 years earlier.  The main disctinguising characteristic of this location rather than K110 is the proximity to the highway.

A Littorina is exiting tunnel 28.  This comment is based on the caption in le Ferrovie Coloniali Italiane.  This probably correct as the headlights are lighter than in the 110.7 Km picture.

Jerry Pry's picture depicts the veiw from the mountain on the east side of Devil's doors.  The rail line on the right is the same one the Chuck Moulton is showing above.  The line on the left is the one leading out of Tunnel 28.
