Notes:
Unit 1842's ancestry as been the subject of a long debate.  Officially it is ex-8758 which was totalled in a wreck at Espanola,ON on September 16, 1986.  CP purchased the hulk of CN RS-18 3634 which was rebuilt to CP-1842 using parts from the wrecked 8758.  Since the frame and carbody of the CN unit were used in the rebuild, I call it 1842 ex CN-3634.
Disposition:
Sold to Ottawa Central 1842 (1998-12).
