Hi ! I'm Bill, glad you stopped by. Let me tell you a little about
myself. I was born December 12, 1962, and as a straight white male in Canada, I have no
rights. I live in Cambridge, Ontario, and since 1990 have been an operator for Kitchener
Transit which was then merged into Grand River Transit in 2000. I've been a railfan since I was born. In fact, my interest in railroads is my
primary reason for being on the internet. Those who work for the railroad have my greatest
respect, but myself, I know I couldn't do it. It's just fine by me to be on the outside
looking in, photographing as much as possible. My photo collection currently stands at
about 75,000 slides, and a large b&w print and negative collection that my dad passed
over to me. My web site, The View from Galt Station is
now almost totally focused on CPR Diesel Locomotive history.
In May 1999, I became CPR Editor for CTC Board
Railroads Illustrated. I'm also a music fan, and although I like variety, more often
than not I'll be tuned into the Hurtin' and Lustin' country station. I'm also an avid
Scrabble player and I'd be happy to play on-line sometime at www.isc.ro. I can
sometimes be contacted on ICQ #9907692, or e-mail mp572galt@rogers.com
(also MSN Messenger).
Wherever I go is where I'll be ...
