The G&AS Coaltainer© is G&AS's version of the Aluminum Johnstown Coalporter Gondola seen commonly throughout on the USA on unit coal trains. G&AS's own line of thease beasts, known as Coaltainers©, boast both a large capacity and a light weight, meanign more coal can be hauled on every train. G&AS has purchased 8,000 of these super modified gondolas, numbered from 690000-697999. These Coalporters were purchased in 1998 to increase capacity and replace some of the aging "fishbelly" hoppers commonly seen throughout the US in the mid 90's. And now, you too, can own some of G&AS's own Coaltainers©, with this limited run by Deluxe Innovations/LBF in N scale. Please see below for prices. For ordering information, please e-mail me.
