The main part of the layout is constructed on L-girder framing made
from 1 x 4 and 1 x 3 pine. The joists are 1 x 4's. There are wall
brackets every 6 feet. This layout is designed to support the
weight of a lot of plaster, plus 200 lbs of chief engineer.
