Welcome to the Galveston Model Railroad Club Web Site

The Galveston Model Railroad Club and Museum is located on beautiful Galveston Island near the Historic Strand District. Our physical address is 314 27th Street, (intersection of Market and 27th). We are four blocks from The Galveston Railroad Museum at the end of the Strand. The club models HO, and G Scale. The entire second floor of the building is the setting for our HO Scale exhibit. The lower floor is where the G Scale Scale exhibits are located. We even have a Thomas the Tank Engine wooden layout for the little ones to enjoy while the big kids view the facility.

The club is open every Sunday from 12noon until 4pm. The members of the club invite you come down to Galveston to see our layouts and watch the railroads serving the Port of Galveston (BNSF, UP and Galveston Railroad L.P.) Galveston offers great accommodations, recreation, shopping and fine resturants. A Gulf Coast Town filled with history, fun, and excitement for the entire family.

Hope to see you soon!

[TrainWeb Editor's Note: This is an archived website last updated in 2004. Any addresses, phone number, email addresses and events you find listed on this website may no longer be accurate. I don't even know if this railroad club still exists. Doing a web search for this club I was only able to find one in the same area with a different name: Galveston County Model Rail Road Club (GCMRRC.org). The Galveston Railroad Museum mentioned in this website has its own website at GalvestonRRmuseum.org. Although this website was last updated in 2004, there are still many HO Scale, G Scale and other photographs at this website for you to view and enjoy.]
