To All Railfans:
I have published this website in book form. The 1st ed. was published in 1999. The updated and revised 2nd. ed. was published in May 2000. A 3rd edition was published in Aug. 2001. This is updated to include many new photos and catalog material. It is as complete and inclusive as possible based on what information was furnished and what equipment there was available to test and evaluate.
The 3rd edition has been included in the

Kalmbach Memorial Library
Pennsylvania RR Museum Library
Smithsonian Institute Library
The Chicago Public Library
With the volume of valuable information on the site, it was necessary to put it into "hardcopy" form. Also, the website is not large enough to include all the patents, catalog material, and references. This website will contain the main essence of content in the book, however, and will continually be updated and revised.
Thanks to all who helped with input of valued material. Trans-Lite, Inc. was most helpful in furnishing material. Again, comments and input are welcome and valued.
