This light unit serves a dual function. It is a both a headlight and a gyrating warning light. The unit consists of a sealed beam lamp 39, a bulb 35 for the gyrating light, a reflector apparatus 25, a motor 24.

The reflector moves in a conically eccentric path with respect to the normal longitudinal fixture axis - producing the moveable beam of the warning light.

Lights could be selectively activated.
