Bienvenido al Ferrocarril Tijuana y Tecate, este sitio está en su progreso continuo de construcción para un servicio mejor a usted, le suplicamos que nos disculpe las molestias.

La Página en Resúmen trata de la contrucción, historia, progreso, términos ferroviarios y un sinfín de artículos, fotos, videos y otros archivos del Ferrocarril en Baja California, así como el Fc. "San Diego and  Arizona (Eastern)".

A principios de 1880, el ferrocarril en sí era el único medio de transporte para gran parte de los países en el mundo, México tenía su sistema en la Región Central, expandiéndose en su progreso.

Los Puertos en California crearon que el sistema ferroviario los conquistara, así como su expansión por el Ferrocarril Atsichon, Topeka & Santa Fe a San Diego, California.

En 1907, el fundador de la compañia azucarera "Spreckels", John D. Spreckels, un hombre cuyá ambición e interés era negocios en California, consiguió financiamiento con Edward Henry Harriman, fundador del "Southern Pacific Railroad Company" y así se inaguró el ferrocarril "San Diego and Arizona" en ruta a Tijuana, un pequeño pueblo fronterizo en Baja California, México.

En 1909, la vía había llegado al punto de la frontera cuando derrepente lo inesperado ocurre... E. H. Harriman fallecé y J. Spreckels se vé afectado en su construcción y no deja otra alternativa que seguir el mismo, y el Ferrocarril entrá a Baja California formando el Ferrocarril Tijuana y Tecate.

The Summary Page deals with the construction, history, progress, railway terms and a myriad of articles, photos, videos and other archives of the Railroad in Baja California, as well as the Fc. "San Diego and Arizona (Eastern)".

In the early 1880s, the railroad itself was the only means of transportation for most of the countries in the world. Mexico had its system in the Central Region, expanding in its progress. The Ports in California created the railroad system to conquer them, as well as their expansion by the Atsichon, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad to San Diego, California.

In 1907, the founder of the "Spreckels" sugar company, John D. Spreckels, a man whose ambition and interest was business in California, secured financing from Edward Henry Harriman, founder of the "Southern Pacific Railroad Company" and thus inaugurated the "San Diego and Arizona" railroad en route to Tijuana, a small border town in Baja California, Mexico.

In 1909, the road had reached the point of the border when suddenly the unexpected happened... E. H. Harriman died and J. Spreckels was affected in its construction and left no alternative but to continue the same, and the Railroad entered Baja California forming the Tijuana and Tecate Railroad.
