A1-A7 series

Steel. A1 to A4 built May 1968, first appearance of blue livery on BCH equipment; A3 and A4 subsequently repainted yellow/red.

A7

Original number A7 was a wood caboose taken over from BCER in 1961. Fate not known; probably off-roster by the time the steel vans were being built. There is no evidence that this van ever received the Hydro logo.

A8

Ex-Canadian National wood caboose after 1961, bought for use on Annacis Island painted in yellow/red livery.

A9-A15 series

A15 (1)
A15 (2)
A15 (3)
Wood vans taken over from BCER. All eventually received Hydro logos on their yellow/red paint. Body of number A15 is at WCRA, Squamish.
