Gunderson Inc. double stack car designs:

(note: All-Purpose designs not shown on this page - go to the Gunderson All-Purpose stack car page to view photos of AP cars).

Twin-Stack:

Notes: 5-unit articulated set; bulkheads; 40' bottom wells, early versions could only hold 40'/45' containers in upper position, all others could handle 48' boxes in the top position.

Maxi-Stack I:

Notes: Essentially a Twin-Stack without the bulkheads.

Maxi-Stack II:

Notes: 5-unit articulated set; similar to the more popular Maxi-III except it only has 40' end wells (instead of 48').

Maxi-Stack III:

Notes: 5-unit articulated set; all 48' wells; Gunderson's most popular 5-unit car.

Husky-Stack (48' well):

Notes: Single-unit car.

Husky-Stack (56' well):

Notes: Essentially the same as 48' Husky-Stack, only with a 56' well.
