Notes:

F9s 281LABC[2nd]-286LABC[2nd]  & 287L[2nd] are not normally noted as [2nd]s, but are so noted here for additional clarity, since F7s 280LABC[1st]-286LABC[1st]& 287L[1st], that occupied those numbers from 1951 to 1953, were originally 250LABC-256LABC&265C, and renumbered back to those numbers prior to the purchase of the F9s.

F9s were delivered with 48" Dynamic Brakes, vertical-slot stainless steel grilles, vertical louvers and rooftop oil cooler piping.
The primary difference in appearance from the last of the F7s is the placement of the forward porthole.

All F9s were delivered in the "cigar band" livery, at least six later repainted to blue and yellow warbonnet scheme.

Disposition of 17 F9B units is unknown.
