The BPRR gondola has a David J Joseph logo. The David J
Joseph Company recycles used railroad items, so this load is old
wheels and some broken truck parts.
This CNW gondola is loaded with a "kit" of ties for a number 20
mainline crossover, to connect a doubletrack mainline with mains on
14.5 ft. track centers. (Approximately 2 inches on centers in HO
scale)
The ties include 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 24.5 ft long 7"x9" as well as
the 10, 11 and 14 ft specially tapered ties 10" to 8" x 10" which
comprise the top layer. The bill of material is derived from UP
standards.
