The JLS Railroad came into being in late 1990. Since
then, engines have been periodically added to the roster.
Presently we have
35 engines on the Railroad.
Below is a picture archive of each engine on the Railroad.
Included with the small picture is a description of what we use
the engine for, in other words, its class. As more engines are
purchased and added to the roster, their pictures and information
will be added down below. The bottom of this page contains the
actual roster of Motive Power. To see engines on the purchase

Plans, Purchases and Projects page. Since the JLS Railroad
is a free lanced layout, you will find a big variety of equipment,
anything from RhB electric locomotives to Narrow Gauge American
Steam is found running the lines. They all do have one thing in
common though, they are ALL, for the most part, LGB engines. In my opinion, there is
nothing better then LGB. Some engines are 10 years old
and still run as good as they did when they were brand new, only
LGB equipment can say that.
