What's in a name?

Jurassic Junction became the name of my model railroad when generous family, wanting to participate in my hobby, added huge, oversized animals to the farm on my layout. Thanks guys!

Fortunately, there is no room on the layout for a nuclear power plant to explain and justify their size. Like everyone else, I love my family, so the animals stay. Thus was born Jurassic Junction.

How to write and organize a dispatch center for a DC layout.

The control panel consists of:

Multi-colored Green/Red LEDs to indicate direction of each turnout/switch
Amber LEDs to indicate presence of power for a section/block of track
Toggle switches (SPDTs) replace larger Atlas switch control boxes
Toggle switches (SPSTs) replace Atlas connectors for spurs and RR sidings and
Installation of Atlas Selectors to control operations from multiple power packs
