Club Day, April 2010, Horsley
Our last Club Day was held on 10 April 2010 in Horsley at the house of Leon and Terri. It was a beautiful day with a good turn out of members. Although it wasn't the same without the Secretary, Colin, who was up north collecting chicken eggs (somehow I think it is more fun playing with trains) and poor Margaret unable to make the trip because of a bad back. The club would like to thank the hosts Leon and Terri for making it such a successful day.
The railway, Leonville Junction, consists of the main loop which includes the town and a number of sidings. A smaller elevated loop, at one end of the layout around a waterfall, above this is an even smaller loop which often has Thomas or one of his friends running to amuse the youngsters.
