Club Day, February 2010, Hornsby

Our last Club Day was held on 13th February 2010 in Hornsby at the home of Patricia and Bob. It was very dubious whether the day would happen due to the heavy downpour the previous night. Bob's "Man Cave" was 1 foot deep in water, this being the second time in one week.

Bob's railway has only recently been completed and it was most upsetting that trains wouldn't be running as a lot of ballast had been washed away in various parts of the layout. Anyway with the help of the 'Rail cleaning crew' it was possible to run a couple of trains, albeit with quite a few derailments.

A good number of members turned up and the rain stayed away. The club would like to thank Pat and Bob for the use of their home at this month's meeting. Below is a pictorial record of the day.
