Club Day, June 2010, Sofala

Our last Club Day was held on 12 June in Sofala at the homestead of Jim and Jenny. The day was picture perfect, although a little on the chilly side - about 10°C - with beautiful clear skies, we couldn't have asked for better. There was a good turn out of members and it gave an opportunity for the members who live out west the chance to come along to a Club Day, without having to venture too far. Visiting Jim and Jenny's was advantageous twofold as they also have an engineering museum on their property. After the meeting Jim gave a guided tour which was very educational (there are a few photos below showing some of the antique engines on display). The club would like to thank Jim and Jenny for making their home available to the members and making it a very enjoyable day.
