I lived in New York from November 1998 to August 2004. Astoria (Queens Borough), Poughkeepsie, and Harlem. I wished that it had been great, but it was not. New York City is a hellhole (Homer Simpson). The great old rails and railfans of New York saved me. This page is my last few days there....
