The Amtrak train approaches Sylvania Station, just downgrade from Summit Interlocking. Summit is aptly named for the highest point on the railroad. It is also a very difficult place to photograph. Sylvania is where the Ohio and Western interchanges coal cars with the Crooked Creek Narrow Gauge Railroad.
