These first shots are of the AAPRCO's special train heading to Montreal from Chicago. The train is seen in Conrails Dewitt yard in East Syracuse, NY Sunday, August 31, 1997. Power for the train were 2 of Amtrak's P40's #'s 823 and 814.

Here's the PV train highballing back to Chicago seen from a very busy highway overpass close to Carousal Mall.
