The train and its four SD40-2 locomotives had been laid up overnight in Galewood Yard on the CP Elgin Sub. Next to it was a bad-order covered hopper that would need to be moved to another track before departure. The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey circus train was also in the yard, seen here to the right of the WSOR train.
