TSBY Photos From Bob Young



Here is a small series of photos taken by Bob Young in Cadillac. There are from the transition time for the TSBY from the former AA heritage to the new image of TBSY. Modelers will find these close up pics helpful. I hope ya enjoy the new series.



Here is a pic of a world weary workhouse, one Ann Arbors GP35's. By the time TSBY took over operations, the fleet of eight units was showing some wear and tear.


By the time TSBY took over operations, Michigan Interstate had operated these units for some time. TSBY, trying to distance itself from the past, quickly painted out the Michigan Interstate lettering.


One of the identifing features of the Annie's fleet was its use of Alco FA trucks under the GP35's.


Different destinies. One to continue to thrive, the other to fade to the memory of railfans and modelers alike.
