Newbury, Ohio - Cleveland & Eastern Right-of-Way

This photo shows the Cleveland & Eastern right-of-way west of View Drive near Kiwanis Lake in Newbury, Ohio. The vehicle in the photo is parked approximately where the line's station once stood, the roadbed is visible beyond the end of the driveway. In the days of the interurbans the area had been logged off and the lake was surrounded by lawns and vacation cabins. The lake is off to the left through the trees. Many of the former cabins have since been converted into year-round residences.
