The bottom of the back section.
This is prob a detail of the bottom. The bottom appears to have the fabric folded over and nailed
This is one side of the back. These are fold-over seats, so the person sitting may sit against either side of this cushion depending on how its set up.
This finger indicates that these seams have a depth to them. There are pipes that mount to the seats and sit in these grooves. They are pretty rigid, I'm guessing they are supported by the material inside.
This is a shot inside the seat back. The piece of wood is at the center. On either side is a black foam. Covering that appears so be some type of heavy fabric or muslin. Then the stuffing, and then the outer cover. The back appears to be simpler. I believe the fabric is nailed into the wood. The groove is then likely created by the black foam.
